Extension of Covid-19 Guidelines – Night Curfew to continue from 10pm to 5 am

COVID 19 situation in the State has been reviewed again. Though State has been witnessing declining trend in the number of daily cases and positivity rate, there is a need for a continued focus on the five-fold strategy of test track-treat-vaccination and adherence to COVID-appropriate behaviour for effective management of COVID-19 and to prevent any potential rise especially during the ensuing festival season.

The following new guidelines and modifications have been imposed

1. Night curfew will continue to be imposed with revised timing from 10 pm to 5 am in the State as per the existing guidelines with effect from 25.09.2021.

2. Cinema halls/multiplexes/theatres/rangamandiras/auditoriums and similar places permitted to operate with 100% of its seating capacity from October 1st 2021 strictly adhering to COVID appropriate behaviour in districts having COVID test positivity rate (TPR) of less than 1%.

3. Pubs permitted to operate strictly adhering to COVID 19 appropriate behaviour from 3.10.2021

4. Class from 6th to 12th std permitted to operate for 5 days a week with full strength in districts having test positivity rate less than 1%.
